ABWA Columbia Triad Chapter Shines
The Columbia Triad Chapter’s collected numerous awards and recognitions. Their efforts were celebrated as they were nationally recognized as a second-year award-winning chapter of the Best Practice Level III Award.
One of the highlights of the conference was the recognition of Anna M. Davis for her 50 years of dedication to ABWA.
Genice Hall-Fowler, a prominent member of the chapter, has two titles under her belt, including District 1 Vice President 2022-2023 and her recent election to the National Board of Directors for 2023-2034 as the National Secretary/Treasurer.
The Columbia Triad Chapter also boasts Five Forever Top-Ten ladies, with Anna M. Davis (1998), Janie Brown (2021), Genice Hall-Fowler (2020), Linda Hough-Hicks (2023), and Doris Harrison (2024) demonstrating their enduring commitment to the ABWA.
Three members from the chapter were recognized nationally for Leveling Up: Linda Hough-Hicks, Anna M. Davis, and Genice Hall-Fowler. Hough-Hicks reached another milestone by graduating from the KU School of Business MBA program in 2023.
Every year, the Columbia Triad Chapter selects a charity and provides anonymous gifts from the chapter members’ own pockets.

Invest in yourself
The Columbia chapter is led by Chapter President Jacqueline Brabham. With the theme “Discover Your Story,” the conference provided a platform for the ABWA’s mission to empower and support women in business.
